First, best wishes to Michael Rizzo, who has been with us since early 2009. He has helped on all fronts of program, administration, PR, special events, and so much more! He is a donating art donor and you can check out his photography at http://michaelrizzo.photoshelter.com.
This past spring, Marita Spooner, returned to help us on press releases, our online portfolio of art placements (check it out here), and tons of office assistance. Plus, Brook Holladay was a gem with her continued efforts at artist outreach and checking out the many open studios.
We welcomed Lydia Symchych, Katherine Bradley, and Jill Manca this summer! Lydia is a whiz at excel spreadsheets and just about any project we hand over to her. Katherine interned with us and gave us a boost with social media activity. Check out her blog www.katbrad.tumblr.com. Finally, Jill is a graphic designer and is keeping our one-of-a-kind educational placards for recipient agencies on track. You can learn more about her at www.behance.net/JillManca.
This fall, we have two new volunteers! Georgianna Baker has a background in Art History and Art Business with a BA from Suffolk University. She’s an art advocate and has worked with several local galleries in Boston, aiding in client relations and art handling. She likes to do yoga, paint, and read about art. Natasha Vianna is a young mother who cares for her daughter, works, blogs, and has fun. Along with her own desire to succeed as a woman and parent, one of her missions is to inspire people to appreciate and get involved in Boston events.
Many THANKS goes out to all for joining
The Art Connection team!!
