Guests start in the lobby of the historic Ben Franklin Institute engaging with artwork, mingling with artists, and eyeing over half a dozen tables of premier silent auction items. There will be 12 games of Bingo where guests will play for a variety of original works of art, including photography and painting. One a special game will be played for work by an emerging artist, a star student from Boston Arts Academy. All winners take home their art at the end of evening along with any of their silent auction wins. Past winnings have included dinners, theater tickets, museum passes, cooking classes, specialty alcohol and more!
All proceeds from the event will be used to support The Art Connection’s mission in providing access to art in under-served communities.
We are seeking volunteers! Check out details here.
The Art Connection was excited to have juror John Guthrie select the works above from the following artists:

Annual Art BINGO Artist Award
Ellen’s commitment to the arts and The Art Connection community has been unparalleled since 1995 when she was an original signer on our bylaws. She has volunteered in numerous capacities throughout the years and most recently, been a strong voice as a member of the program committee since 2008. The Art Connection is honoring Ellen for her tremendous dedication and support of the arts. We are pleased to present the Annual Art BINGO Artist Award to Ellen!
Ellen started donating her original works of art through The Art Connection in 2000 and these have found homes in nonprofits such as New England Center for Homeless Veterans, Pine Street Inn, St. Francis House, Centro Latino de Chelsea, Inc., and East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. In addition to the art donation and placement program, she has submitted works to our jurors and has had work selected into Art BINGO for the past five years! Her acrylic on paper, collage “Marsden” was selected by our juror, John Guthrie, this year as one of the twelfth works to be played for at Art BINGO.
