We have a variety of fun and engaging projects for volunteers at The Art Connection.

Outreach to artists and non-profit agencies
Assist us in recruiting new artists and non-profit agencies for our art placement program by:

• Locating non-profits who are eligible for art donations
• Visiting artists in their studios
• Making phone calls to follow up on applications

Art donation and placement program
Visit non-profit agencies to help them select artwork using our digital slide presentation.

Administrative tasks
Help us make the office run more smoothly. This is a project where we would really appreciate any help we could get.

Graphics projects
Includes scanning slides of donated artwork, assisting us with our web page and designing eye catching information and materials.

Special Events
Planning, set up, clean up, mailing and follow up phone calls for

• Artist and non-profit outreach events
• Open houses/Open Studios
• Parties for fundraising

Media Projects

• Assist us with our newsletter
• Update media lists
• Identify calendar opportunities and set up system to get us listed
• Write feature articles
• Public relations advice and planning
