April 2010 – Center for Family Connections Celebrates New Space with Art Reception

CAMBRIDGE, MA – Center For Family Connections (CFFC) is pleased to announce the official opening of their new space at 189 Cambridge Street, Cambridge.

“The new space enables CFFC to serve increased numbers of families and children,” says
Dr. Joyce Maguire Pavao, CEO of CFFC. “We are excited to be able to offer a wider variety of services to people in need.”

The new space features a number of larger rooms, which will allow CFFC to offer more of their popular group programs. It will also be used for expressive therapy groups with children, adolescents, and adults, and has a room for trainings and clinically supervised visits.

The space is beautifully decorated with artwork from local, national, and international artists. These pieces were generously donated through The Art Connection, a non-profit group that expands public access to visual art through the placement of original artwork at community service organizations. The artwork creates a warm, welcoming and inspiring space for CFFC’s many clients.

The opening will be celebrated with a Spring Open House at 189 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The Open House will feature live music, food, and a showcase of the artwork, including an opportunity to meet some of the artists who donated their pieces.

To attend the Open House, please R.S.V.P. by Friday, April 23 to Larisa Kottke at larisak@kinnect.org or 617-547-0909.
