Our 2014 Volunteers

A round of applause for our current and new volunteers at the 3rd Annual Art Bingo on May 3rd. This event is a success because of the extra help from all areas including our Board members, Boston Cares, and friends!

In January, we said good-bye to Ana Annicchiarico who moved back to Florida. Then, in May, we bid a farewell to our volunteer of THREE YEARS, Jill Manca! Jill was an asset in many graphic design projects (https://www.behance.net/JillManca) and was key to getting our printed newsletter out to you. Finally, in July, we said anther good-bye to Shubha Roy who finished her graphic design degree at New England School of Art & Design in December.

In the fall, we brought on two new volunteers!

Kate Bamberg: Kate graduated from Clark University in 2013 where she earned her B.A. in Film Studies and International Development & Social Change. She is passionate about using the arts in a way to create positive social change locally and globally.

Youngshim Gontijo: Youngshim (also known as Shimmy) graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Illustration. She is currently focusing on building more skill sets in graphic design and growing a portfolio to eventually start her own business in logo design. Shimmy grew up in Worcester, MA and loves animals. Please check out her website at youngshimgontijo.com

A big THANKS to these volunteers that help The Art Connection fulfill its mission in so many ways!!
